ADC presenting three publications at American Conference on Neutron Scattering (ACNS) at Georgetown University June 25-27, 2012

Lansing, NY, June 20, 2012 -- ADC USA, Inc. announced today that three technical papers based upon instruments designed and/or fabricated at ADC, were accepted at the American Conference on Neutron Scattering (ACNS 2012), Washington DC.


“ADC’s custom designed instruments are making a very positive impact on the neutron scattering research community,” said Alex Deyhim, President of ADC. "We have long been dedicated to developing cutting-edge instruments as well as providing the tools needed to conduct research that has never done before.”


The ACNS conference was organized to attract neutron scattering scientists, engineers and students interested in every aspect of the science and technologies of neutron research. The conference will be hosted by NIST Center for Neutron Research and jointly sponsored by the Neutron Scattering Society of America & Materials Research Society. The following is a summary of the publications ADC will bring to ACNS:


  • Complex Detector Vessel for Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) instrument for The Australian Nuclear Sciences and Technology Organization (ANSTO)
  • Development of Ultra-Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (USANS) Monochromator
  • Development of Custom High Precision Slits for Neutron Facilities
